The first day of spring
March 21st is observed as the first day of spring and it's and a fun day at school. This year the spring contest was organised and we didn't have regular classes. It engaged all students who were supposed to take part in some competitions. Each class had to present a spring kite, the spring lady disguise, sping sandwiches and a song or a skit. We had a grat time watching the contest. It turned out that the class 2 A from middle -school was the best and won the contest. Congratulations!
Woman's Day in Poland
Woman’s day in Poland is celebrated on 8th of March. On that day girls and women are given flowers and presents, usually
chocolates.. It's usually a big celebration in our school too. Boys from every class prepared small gifts for girls and teachers. Perhaps the most popular were tulips, hand -made cards or chocolates. There was also a school assembly during which boys presented a skit which made us laugh a lot . We listened to some romantic love songs and poems .too. It was an unforgettable day.
