5th March- 23rd March  The weeks of celebrations

Young learners
On 8th March We celebrated The Day of Women. That day there was a school play in which students of our school presented the story about the women, of course. It was funny. Boys gave girls small gifts and flowers. Boys from our class organised quizzes and games for girls. Girls were really happy and greatful.

The day of 21st March is a First Day of Spring. Pupils in Poland usually celebrate that day. They throw the effigy symbolizing winter into the river. Sometimes they wear funny colorfull costumes and make a parade on the streets. That day is usually free of typical lessons. Instead pupils do a lot of different things during school time. This year some classes went for hike on Perzowa Mountain.
We wore green clothes and took a picnic in the forest. we took blankets and packed lunch. We were singing spring songs, talking and laughing.

 

Infant children

We prepared a school play in order to say ,,goodbye'' winter and ,,welcome'' spring. We wore beautiful colourful costumes.In our class We could see,,Lady Spring'', some storks and other spring birds. Everyone wore special clothes decorated with beautiful flowers, green leaves, butterflies and bees.We said to everybody: WAKE UP! WAKE UP!SPRING IS COMING!!! :))
